        Hearty Jo's...

The name is actually part of what my husband tells me: "Cook with love. It tastes better."

Over the years, my Mom called me "Jo".

Cooking with love + a generous sized meal by Jo = Hearty Jo's.
People often ask me "What made you decide to leave the healthcare industry to start your own food truck?"

I had been tossing around the idea of a food truck for years. I was pretty burnt out on the nursing field. When I noticed an opportunity for a turn key trailer on the Market Place, I jumped on it! I was looking for something to invest in. I thought Why not invest in myself?

I took the leap to ownership and started my own food truck. I could not imagine leaving my job at the pediatric clinic for anything besides following my dream.
